Warranty
VERSION : 2006 (Effective: October,
2006)
Please contact us to obtain warranty
documentation for different tyres.
ELIGIBILITY:
You are eligible for the benefits of this
Limited Warranty if you are the original
purchaser or authorized agent of the
original purchaser of original and other
off-take brand OTR- Radial tyres bearing
complete serial numbers.
TIME PERIOD:
This Limited Warranty covers all OTR-radial
tyres presented & provided by the
manufacturer for adjustment on or after June
13, 2006. The Limited Warranty is in effect
for 5 years commencing on the date of Bill
of Loading (B/L). If proof of the B/L date
is not available, the date of manufacture
indicated on the serial number will be used
as the warranty commencement date.
COVERAGE:
If any OTR-radial tyre provided by the
manufacturer & covered by this Limited
Warranty becomes unserviceable due to a
covered warranty condition, it will be
repaired or replaced with a comparable new
OTR-radial tyre (original and other off-take
brand). The customer charge for replacement
will be calculated by multiplying the
manufacturer's current replacement tyre
price at the adjustment location (exclusive
of taxes), by the percentage determined from
the following chart:
LIMITATIONS:
This Limited Warranty is applicable to the
original purchaser and is not assignable to
subsequent purchasers.
No the manufacturer’s dealer, agent, or
representative has the authority to make or
imply any representation, promise or
agreement which in any way varies or extends
the terms of this warranty.
Any OTR-radial tyre, no matter how well
manufactured, may fail in service or
otherwise become unserviceable due to
conditions beyond the control of the
manufacturer. This Limited Warranty is under
no circumstances a representation that a
tyre failure cannot occur.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific
rights and you may also have other rights
which may vary from jurisdiction to
jurisdiction. To the extent that the
provisions of any applicable legislation
expressly replace, eliminate, amend or
prohibit any term or terms contained herein,
such term or terms shall be accordingly
replaced, eliminated, amended or extended,
as the case may be, in accordance with such
legislation.
MEASURE
OF REMAINING TREAD DEPTH:
-
Vernier caliper(or professional caliper)
is used. when measuring, avoiding the
wearing mark. And the vernier caliper(or
professional caliper) must be vertical
to the bottom of groove.

The position of measure: Groove depth of
middle line on the tread or depth of the
leading groove nearest to the tread
center.
-
Avoid the strengthening veins and
position of wearing mark when measuring.
-
Caculation of tread depth: Measure the
depth of four equal indexes on the the
tread circle, and the average value of
the four data is regarded as the
remaining tread depth.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
The following are not covered by this
policy:
-
Tyres purchased more than 5 years prior
to presentation. Without proof of the
B/L date, tyres manufactured 5 years
prior to presentation are not covered.

Tyres sold as a blemish(B
grade tyres: the first letter of Brand
is moved).
-
Tyres for which an alternate
warranty/guarantee has been negotiated.
The tread wear and damage will not covered
by the limited warranty influenced by the
following conditions:
-
Damage resulting from misuse, improper
mounting, misapplication, use of
non-approved rims, improper inflation,
overloading, running flat, misalignment
or imbalance of wheels /rims, defective
brakes or shock absorbers, abuse,
willful damage, oil, chemical action,
fire or other externally generated heat,
use of studs, water or other material
entrapped inside the tyre, vehicle
damage or road hazards (such as rock
cuts, punctures, cut separations,
impacts, flex breaks).

Claims for irregular wear or rapid tread
wearout are not covered by this limited
warranty.
-
Any tyre which is operated above its
ton-mile-per-hour (TMPH) or Tonne-kilometer-per
hour (TKPH) rating.
-
Tyres mounted with tubes or o-rings not
approved by ETYRE.
-
Used, Repaired, or Retread tires.
-
Any modifications to the tyre (added
butress shoulders, regrooving, relugging,
etc.) void all warranties.
-
Any material added to the tyre (tyre
fill, sealer, balancer, etc.) is not
covered by this limited warranty and
will not be compensated for in case of
credit being issued for the tyre.
-
Use of a solid type fill (such as
urethane) voids all warranties.
-
Any costs associated with the repair of
tyres are not covered unless previously
approved by ETYRE.
-
Costs of mounting and balancing
following pro-rated replacement or
repair of tyres or tubes, and applicable
federal, state, provincial, and local
taxes, are not covered under this
warranty.
-
Cost of disposal of warranted tyres.
Disposal of tyres is the sole
responsibility of the customer.
-
Some jurisdictions do not allow
limitations in how long an implied
warranty lasts, or the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply
to you.
The
manufacturer EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS this
warranty does not bear any indirect loss,
time loss, vehicle loss and inconvenient
loss within allowable scope of the law.
WHAT ARE YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS?
Some countries and areas do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply to
you.
OWNERS OBLIGATIONS:
-
You must present the tyre to be
considered for adjustment to an
authorized the manufacturer dealer or
the manufacturer Service Representative.

You must pay for taxes, mounting and any
additional services you order at the
time of adjustment. For imported by or
specifically for a Buyer (or his agent),
the manufacturer's responsibility will
be based upon the Cost & Freight Port of
Entry tyre value prior to payment of
import duties.

No claim will be recognized unless the
product is inspected and a claim is
submitted electronically or on a the
manufacturer claim form into the
manufacturer's OTR Adjustment database
by a the manufacturer Representative.
All adjustments are confirmed by mail.
-
Onboard machine cycle, payload and
productivity information must be made
available to the authorized the
manufacturer Dealer or the manufacturer
Service Representative if requested.
-
Replaced tyres may be incapacitated.
Disposal of the tyre is the
responsibility of the owner.
NOTICE:
Property Damage, Serious Injury or Death may
result from:
FAILURE DUE TO UNDERINFLATION/OVERLOADING:
Follow owner's manual or tyre placard placed
in the vehicle.
EXPLOSION OF TIRE / RIM ASSEMBLY DUE TO
IMPROPER MOUNTING:
Consider using nitrogen to inflate OTR tyres
to reduce the risk of explosive tyre
failure. Only specially trained persons
using proper equipment should mount tyres.

Contact an authorized the manufacturer
OTR-Radial dealer or representative.
Please be prepared to provide proof of
purchase of the product and purchase
date.

The authorized dealer or representative
will contact the manufacturer to arrange
the inspection of the tire in question
and processing of your claim. The dealer
has no authority or responsibility to
make the determination as to eligibility
for coverage under this limited
warranty.
